Demens og andre aldersrelaterede sygdomme sætter de offentlige systemer under pres. Den demografiske udvikling betyder, at der bliver flere og flere ældre, og derfor er plejesektoren nødt til at udvikle sig. Velfærdsteknologi spiller i den sammenhæng en vigtig rolle, fordi teknologien kan understøtte en bedre og mere effektiv demenspleje.

Demantec er et dansk-tysk projekt, som skal fremme innovative teknologier på plejehjem målrettet demensplejen. En vigtig del af Demantec er netvæksarrangementerne, hvor du har mulighed for at møde uddannelsesinstitutioner, virksomheder, kommuner, plejehjem og mange organisationer fra Danmark og Tyskland, der arbejder med mennesker, der er ramt af demens.

Den 14. december 2016 handler netværksarrangementet om, hvordan uddannelsesinstitutioner kan bidrage til at sikre, at fagpersonalet har den nødvendige viden og kompetencer til at kunne implementere innovativ velfærdsteknologi i praksis. Der er fokus på det nødvendige samarbejde mellem aktørerne i hele fødekæden – fra forskningens verden til dagligdagen i plejecentre.

14:45 Workshop – Meet the innovative health department seated in the municipality of Slagelse

How is elderly care and particularly care for persons suffering from dementia developed and implemented in Slagelse?

Workshop 1: Meet the head of the innovative health department, Randi Mølager, and learn from her story about developing an innovative department that develops methods for innovating care practice.

Workshop 2: Meet the developing therapist, Line Louise Lundkjær Rasmussen, who is working with innovative methods of spreading the care technology primarily by driving a technology apartment and a technology library.

Workshop 3: Meet a dementia coordinator that coordinates the care for the individual persons suffering from dementia and their relatives and get inspired by her experiences in the field.
